TX & AR | Have one very similar to the one you posted. It's good for set it and forget it. Meat stays moist and will be smokey, but not as smokey as the old fashioned way using mesquite or oak wood. You will not get a char or burnt ends either. I use it for whole pork loins as they wont dry out and you dont have to watch it as closely. If you want the real deal bbq smoke and flavor with burnt ends and a char, you may not be as happy with the electric one. Just my experience. TAMU 89 | |
