I had the masterbilt you are looking at. I think the main points have been hit already - it did pretty well for what it was. You aren't going to get a smoke ring or really smokey meat. The other issue is if you like chicken, it won't get hot enough to crisp the skin at the end. But I made a lot of good BBQ on it.

It's a good beginner smoker. I sold mine a couple weeks ago, and am going to buy one of the Masterbilt Gravity series that Cole linked to earlier in the thread. I'm probably getting the larger one.
