NW Washington | An engineer at a short line equipment manufacturer once told me a patent is only worth as much as you are willing to pay to protect it. Another guy told me how John Deere ripped of the hillside combine header swiveling design that a welder in Moscow Idaho had patented and was told to "sue us" when he complained.
