Be prepared, Once the ball is rolling, 2-3 weeks, you’ll be looking for more to teach your kids as they will have a weeks worth of work done by Wednesday morning.
This is not true for all children. Wife has been homeschooling our daughter for 3+ years because she was falling behind in public school. And after all these years she still can't manage time and focus on the work like she should. Lots of Saturdays spent finishing/correcting work that should have been done before.
I just wanted to throw that in for more perspective, and to tell how homeschooling requires lots of time and sacrifice. More than most realize until they actually do it. Can't just pay for curriculum and computer program and turn them loose with it. Especially the younger ones.
Worth it though if you have a poor public school system, or a child with learning challenges.
