I've been feeding calves at 7 and 7. They get full and lay down for the day before it gets hot and by 7 pm the edge is off the sun and they are bouncing around their pens again. So far so good.
Wow - - - here the temperature is down maybe 5 degrees F at 20.30 or 21.00 with dark at 21.30 and at 09.00 its already close if not more than 80 F.
Especially when at 05.00 its still 75 F - - - that's hard on the old fart!
