| Maybe. It seems awfully easy to forget April and May, doesn't it. A lot of Indiana and Illinois struggled with cold wet conditions during corn emergence resulting in spotty stands and spot replanting. Those fields look beautiful now, but record yield potential is limited when there is 50-150% stands scattered throughout the field. Not a flop by any stretch of the imagination, but I can sure see guys going into the corn fields this fall all excited and come out a little disappointed. | |
