We did this last year instead of regular hay tarps. We piled dirt at the bottom to hold it down. We let the ends open like in the photo so that it could get some air. The only thing that we found was that the hay got a little bad against the plastic. I guess it sweated. It didn't bother our cows but wouldn't be ideal if you were selling as horse or high quality hay.
Will this work for covering hay?
