ECIL | From a practical and common sense standpoint, not taking into consideration the Court's decision, which product has been way more controversial, and why?
The new, supposed "safer" version, has had far more controversy, official complaints, and has been litigated to a higher level. It has caused way more social problems than any dicamba labeled for corn as well. The fact of the matter is, this product could be the end for any dicamba in corn, in my opinion, which wouldn't have to happen if the EPA, Monsanto, retailers, and farmers would have done the right thing and turned their back on this debacle three years ago when the damages were seen. There has NEVER been even remotely close to the magnitude of damage coming from dicamba sprayed on corn that has been seen in soybean fields around here the last three years. Unfortunately,no one wanted the do the right thing and say no and it had to make its way to the Ninth Circuit. The courts are in place for a reason in this country, and when we turn our backs on our fellow humans, we should expect to end up in the courtroom.
