I disagree china has been buying a lot of pork. Expansion screwed it all up. Now 15% of the sows need to go .
I know China has been buying a lot of Canadian pork but after this weeks politics IDK were that will go & and the Chinese or no other country really wants to have to depend on food imports too feed there people.
We had a 'sow/pig' buyout in Ontario in maybe 2010 & it was likre the US dairy buyouts , the older guys, tired barns were closed and others seen it as an opportunity to expand......Sows will get liquidated as monies run out or no hook space......hogs are a mature business now |
I dont think there could have been a better fake out
