I think you may be on to something.

We have eliminated vegetable oils from our house. But when we eat out everything is prepared with it and unless we ask specifically for butter it will be margarine. We often notice a little problem after eating out. I think that could be part of it.

At 25 none of that bothered me.

At 66 I think a lot of food things related bothers me.

Charles Kuralt is the first that woke me up to it. He traveled a lot with his job, as I did in the truck. To stay healthy you learn to eat smarter.
It is an aging thing also, We used to laugh at the amount of abuse that the human body can stand.
Now if you go to a local pub for supper or whatever. You notice that a couple of decades slows down the heavy drinkers due to health problems.
The same bunch that used to close the place, are now there at 3:30 PM for the early bird special & get home before dark, cause you can't see.
