I would go with a tower, 8 gb ram, 1 tb hard drive. A Dell 3070 would probably work for me at $779. But if you want to run additional monitors or need more USB options, go to the 5070 or the 7070.
My son built my wife a desktop for cheap. Works good, but the cheap power supply died within a year. Son pulled one out of a junk computer and had her in business again.
edited to add: I am scared of buying a used computer, unless you do a complete wipe of the hard drive. I can imagine someone on Ebay selling used computers cheap..... and including some malware that sends your banking and credit card info back to them as soon as you log in. But maybe I'm paranoid. | |
