Occasionally the kind of people who do it are so dumb that they'll dump mail along with it,
It's probably been twenty years ago, but I had that exact situation, I found their address on some mail.
They lived in a pretty nice suburb, and I took their trash back to them.
No one was home at the time, but when I was shoveling it back on their lawn, a neighbor came over and inquired what I was doing.
When I explained and showed him some of the mail, he shrugged and said "knowing them he wasn't surprised", and went back to his house.
