Someone once dumped some junk tires in a farm lot Dad owned. It was on a busy corner where two county roads intersect. Dad stacked them up and put a For Sale sign by them. Within a couple days all but one were stolen.
The tire deal is one thing I don't understand. Here we get the guys that toss a tire here and a few there up and down the gravel roads. Why not just stop and unload the whole truck full in a big pile and then drive off? I've taken a loader tractor with a set of forks on it and picked them up and made a big pile to burn. Seems like a much faster way would be for the offenders to just toss as many as they could at one time and be done with it. But I've never tossed any tires out on the roadsides so I really can't say! |
