This subject is ironic to me. Seems the past couple of days I was going to unload my wife's phone as you describe. I've done it many times in the past with my own phones using Win Explorer & copy/paste vs "import".

But, now I'm having lots of trouble with her phone. I click on the movie in the file on her phone using Win Explorer. I can watch the movie, but when I try to copy/paste the .mov file into my Win 10 computer, it won't go. Get lots of different error messages, like "need password", or "can't access", or others I can't remember. Incidentally, I did copy/paste on 150 jpegs she had in the same phone file. They came across without a hitch. Now reside on computer HD. I will say I was able to get 2 .mov files out, but not the remaining 70.

I've googled & not come up with any "aha!!" answers yet. Any suggestions on why I can't pull the movies out? Also, tried a completely different high-powered Win 10 computer with same results. 

The videos are too large to email. Won't go.
