Have an upper back molar just in front of my wisdom tooth. It had been filled some years ago. Couple of weeks ago it just kind of disintegrated. Dentist said either pull it or do root canal and crown. If you pull it the ones beside it will start to go crooked and "lean into" the open space. So let's do root canal and crown. $840+ for the root canal. Probably going to be almost that much more for the crown. Supposed to get that next week. Dental care has gotten to be ridiculous.

It's a communist plot, I tell you!

If your tooth is cracked, then it is shot, no reason to try a root canal and crown, as they will not work.  Any responsible dentist would
not try that alternative.

Don't be afraid to pull that molar, and get an implant, they work just like a real tooth.  Money well spent.
