We have a similar setup. At first just tried a repeater in the window of the shop. But with all the steel inside it still wasn't ideal. https://smile.amazon.com/Ubiquiti-NanoStation-loco-M2-Wireless/dp/B0...
In 2015 we mounted one of these on our shop, pointed at the house. Then run a cable inside, and connect to a old or cheap router acting as an access point (connect to Ethernet 1 instead of WAN). For a stronger signal you could mount a second M2 on the house, but our distance was a little longer than 150' and still getting strong signal with just the single. This unit is a little overkill for this type of range, because a pair of these M2 is said to go a couple miles+.
