This technology was called "power line" but is also referred to as "home plug". It is a standardized specification so you can mix and match with various manufactures.

Don't worry about the various Mbps ratings. You can view security cameras in HD with as little as 8Mbps. Curremntly there is no real world difference between 1,000Mbps and 100Mbps to the end users.
