I agree - I'm surprised that the WAAS performed as poorly as it did. I would have expected something in the 10-20" range...
Remember guys, WAAS is only 1/2 meter (~20") at the very best and that's with a dual freq receiver. A drift of 30" doesn't seem unreasonable with an L1 receiver. Antenna, antenna placement, satellite geometry all have an impact on precision.
