My 675 cat is running about 1/2 mpg less than than my 500 detroit. But I shaved 45 minutes off some of the normal trips that take 4-5 hours. I can slow my top speed down now and make the trips at the same speed and likely improve mileage. HP takes the same amount of fuel. Interesting thing is I rarely show over 500 horse being used, mostly about 350-360hp
