NC Kansas | Thanks, guys! There's a line here, somewhere, that is equal distance between "roll over" and "dog in a manger." It's also important to seperate ego from business. It would have been nice if they'd discussed it with me before the deal was made, but it appears that the neighbor rolled in with a big bag of money and the deal was made before I even came into the conversation.
I had been thinking most of what you guys are saying. Being the anal retentive twit that I am, I spread-sheeted the whole thing in multiple scenarios. Everything from plant to harvest cropping to just getting the rent back and being paid for custom work. There appears to be a good middle ground, I just hope the new owner sees it that way, too. I get to keep the wheat regardless, so at least there's a place to start.
