North West IA/western AZ | Age of the house and how well did they do getting the ground water away are 2 big variables. Usually the box will tell you what size area they were made for. In my old farm house, I get the biggest one I can find. I think extended warranty is a good idea on dehumidifiers also. I went thru several that didn't last a year. In fact, one year I bought a new one in the spring and it died before the end of it's warranty. | |
