Thanks for that explanation.
So by the time a person "needs" to be put on a ventilator, they are pretty well screwed anyway. Only about half or less make it anyway.
Know a person that was involved a few years back on research trying to find ways of keeping them from doing damage to the lungs. Not a thing a person wants to be on.
Can anyone explain what a ventilator IS?
