Curious do you need permission if you dont take a dime from those folks? If not just do it.Produce farmers only get the shaft from feds IMO.
This might be true, if you're not in programs, just do it avoiding all the hoopla. But I'd strongly discourage it. I know 2 people that basically did this at one time. Both of these individuals are now getting older and realized, man this will really throw a wrench in renting out to someone in the farm program. Or probably make selling an issue as well to someone in the program. |
