Not from Wisconsin.

If you or the land you are tiling is in the farm program start with the FSA. Here in Minnesota you get directed next to NRCS, and from there you have to go to the state version of that office which is the most strict. Minnesota has rules tougher than the federal rules.

Here in Minnesota, it is difficult to find the right person to give you permission to drain into a state road ditch. But it is possible under the right conditions.

My county, and many other counties, will not allow that under any conditions. You would have lots of issues if you tried that ‘here.’ Would be worse than ignoring the federal folks.
