If the water table is 36” deep, tile is not going to help you much. Tile is installed in areas to lower the free water table to 36-48” deep. If you don’t know where the free water table is in these areas, bury a 2” PVC pipe with holes in the sides and measure.

If you have Precision leveled to allow surface irrigation on 1-2% slopes, tile is going to be an issue for you unless very carefully installed across the slope to allow for tile gates.

If you don’t have an outlet, you can pump water. A 40-acre field draining at a 3/8” coefficient runs about 300GPM. When your field is saturated, if you have enough main, the system will dump out nearly 4x that much for a while until the water tables is pulled down from the surface.
