I think any harrow on wheat stubble in the spring will bunch up badly whether it’s an old Melroe or a new heavy harrow. A Salford/vertical till would be best or just burn it off if possible.


Kind of puzzled by your response. Often use a harrow in spring, although prefer fall use. Just need to set it less aggressive to let straw pass through appropriately. Hydraulic tine angle/down pressure adjustment is nice for this.
