| I am pretty sure we are on the tail end of having it. I was not tested but had the symptoms and so did the wife. Our 4 boys all had it. One of my sons and my wife both tested negative for both flus. My wife also tested negative for COVID but they told her to stay isolated because of false negatives. We found and FDA publication after that that confirmed that false negatives are a thing.
I am convinced that there are way more cases than we realize, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Not that I want others to get this- we are self imposed quarantined- but if some people have already had and can start to build some herd immunity without overwhelming the hospitals, then we can get through this. Our social distancing is not about stopping the spread, but about keeping the hospitals functioning. | |
