| Funny you bring this up, I called Rod Hamilton (used to work with him so know him a little) on Wednesday about the packer gouging and he directed me to Keith as he would handle any price gouging allegations. I haven't called him yet as I personally haven't been affected yet as i won't sell fats until April into May. Sure seems like they are admitting to gouging if they are now starting to offer more $$ to the feedlots. I sure didn't see a big runup on box beef at the end of the week...hmmm....There needs to be some level of regulation and enforcement with these crooks, but who will that be that doesn't get their pockets lined with packer money. | |
