ESW ND | How old is the calf? Does she go back to it? We have some cows/heifers that will "hide" their calves in our calving pasture. They will go back to them 2-3 times during the day. Say the magic words, calf up and sucks, magic words again, calf goes and lays back down. Don't know what your situation actually is. Also, by you trying to pick it up and it "acts" weak....some "act". Momma comes running, says magic words again, and it's like you lit a firecracker under it's tail. Again, just saying, don't know your situation. | |
