moline illinois | Well you are thinking just like I think lol. Problem is that liquid P is very expensive, but you can make the argument that what is the use of putting down the cheaper dry if the plant can't get to it.
I'm a small farmer of 500 acres and a one man band, I use 5 gallons of 10-30-0-2.5-.5. It's $500 a ton so expensive. I figure the plant lives on the seed until the 3rd leaf, that gives the poly time to break down to ortho so it's usable for the plant. Not sure this is the best way to go and I am always searching for something better. | |
