| Interesting. During the 80s, when we worked like dogs and I knew that I couldn't afford to make a big mistake, I went for about a decade without dreaming. My brain was too active. It would wake me up early and it was going through all the problems. Also, a friend who lost his son years back said that he didn't dream for three years. I think dreaming is good - don't know about the type of dreaming you are experiencing, however. One thought is that maybe you have strong obsessive/compulsive tendencies. Not so severe as to be called a compulsion. I worked through this a very long time ago, and when I read the book "Brain Lock" I discovered that what he said in the book was almost exactly what I had already done. I don't know if that book would help, but it only costs $3.54 - shipping included - on abebooks.
