The subconscious mind is a strange thing. I actually got to where I would like to leave an engine or transmission overnight and "sleep on it" before I finished buttoning it up. My mind would seem to "re-run the tape" in my sleep & more than once I woke up wondering about some detail in the job. A couple times it turned out I had missed some minor thing when I checked the next day...
Do we dream more at night as we age???
