| It makes a big difference where you are at.
I put soybeans on some ground that had been corn for possibly 20 years. Dad said I didn't need it but I remembered him and Grandpa talking years ago about it. I am pretty sure Grandpa inoculated his beans that year.
I did some research and some areas have enough "bugs" naturally.
I got some peat inoculant and put it on my seed. Some at higher rate than others. Probably did 1/2 with none. Absolutely no difference. Color, yield, and maturity was all the same. | |
