If the product you reference is a liquid applied with your seed treatment, you are getting a double rate on every seed when it is put on. If you are planting within a week of application, you should be fine.

If you are a month or more out, additional inoculant would be helpful. This is to insure that the nodules are filled with very productive rhizobia and not residual rhizobia that is better at surviving than producing. They take more than they give. The reason for the time is that the applied rhizobia do lose numbers over time from the initial application.

I have customers who are using liquids in-furrow as a second inoculation or a primary where applications to the seed is not practical. This is very good compared to hopper box applied products where the distribution on each seed is very sporadic.

Triple? I think that would be a waste.

Feel free to drop a note if I can help further.
