KY | It’s whirlpool MDT710PAYM5. The impeller slides right off of the one I have, but the center is worn so of course it does. There is no “keeper” of any type on it, but that may or may not be by design. Tell you tomorrow or Friday when the replacement motor and pump show up. Only problem I can see with an epoxy is if it’s the type that creates a lot of heat while it sets up, if it gets hot enough to melt or misshapen the plastic impeller, then I’ve shot myself in the foot. I suppose if this one lasts 1/2 as long as the original, the machine itself will be getting worn enough to replace so not worried about it affecting future work if it it’s glued on tight. | |
