SE Nebraska, Near Misery and Cans Ass! | kritzy - 2/23/2020 19:53 Hey all, fasting 2 meals/week now. Been easing into this program for just a hair over a month. Down 50+ lbs. My lbs/day loss average is steadily decreasing as expected. I'm about 99hrs into my longest fast yet. I'm planning on a 120hr fast so I can enjoy a few bloody ceasers with some friends after supper tomorrow evening. I had my last cigarette 5 days ago. Not smoking is exponentially harder than not eating FYI. I'm keeping 1 cigarette in a pack around just for torture factor. At this point I'm feeling like I've adopted a phrase I've heard in films about the military in the middle East, (embrace the suck)! Any naysayers on the fasting diet, feel free to chime in, I enjoy the debate. Thanks. On the tobacco thing , for me,the only way to quit was to have one near and ready for whenever I needed it and then just choose not to smoke at the moment. As soon as i said I quit and threw my cigars away I had to go get some and promptly fell off the wagon. took five years to stop carrying one or two but I still know where a couple are. Mind games
