Hale Center, Texas | Mark (EC,IN) - 2/24/2020 07:21 I smoked my last cigarette on New Years' eve 1999, I figured that date would make it easy to remember how long when someone asked. (-: It was probably the 6th or 7th time I'd quit. What I learned from the other times was "you can't bum just one a couple months later". I bet if I smoked one now, I'd be doing a pack and a half by next week. I've also lost weight using a carb diet (Atkins years ago), and I still do it if I gain a few pounds. That all said, I'll admit I've not looked into it, but all the "Fasting" talk sounds scary to me. If I haven't eaten for a long period of time (one day), I start to feel pretty bad....light-headed and nausea. Each to their own, but don't think I'll be trying that anytime soon.
I've been fasting 17 hours. I just don't eat breakfast. It has been remarkably easy. |
