Had a-fib, Sleep ap for most of my life. I didn't know my heart beat was abnormal. Doc said a-fib was caused by apnea. Tried the machine. No way. Got my a-fib fixed. Then PVCs started fading away. Then lost 20+ pounds down to 200. Started waking up in the morning refreshed, and not looking for a nap all day. Figure there is still some apnea. Just not anything that bothers me.
  Dr. argued I could not have survived so long with a-fib. After the cardio-version I asked Dr if not feeling every heartbeat in my chest was supposed to be normal? Don't remember a time before that I didn't. Look on his face was priceless.
