BenP, I use to have a huge sweet tooth. lots of jeelly beans and peppermint. I quit the sugar 3 years ago. after a couple of months didn't and don't now miss it. Cut way down on the carbs about 8 months ago. Keep up your good work it gets easier.


I don't crave sweets anymore. I've only had one Mt. Dew in the last month, and I really didn't enjoy it. I try to stay away from diet pop too, because my sweet tooth comes back because of it. Hardest thing was cutting out the nightly bowl of ice cream... But I've only had ice cream 3 times in the last month.

It's nice to have some self control again. I'm hoping now that I have these habits established, the pounds will really come off in the busy/irrigating season. My appetite is a lot smaller now, too, and it takes less food to fill me up.
