I would be concerned with rocks being drawn into impeller. The baseball size ones. Had it happen on our lift station. The pump now has a expanded metal cage around it.
If I do anything it will be either BIG pieces of flat side walk-- or just talked to my older brother his suggestion bags of sackcrete 80# each made for under water a layer covering the floor
Should only take 12 to 16 bags
