| Have an older Dell Latitude laptop running Windows7 enterprise , got it for free. I5 processor, 8 gigs ram and I want to add a solid state drive . Figured out how to transfer data over to solid state drive but with ss drive in it will not boot all the way up and get an error code . I'm thinking since it a business license of Windows 7 it will keep fighting me ( extra security and such ) .
I purchased a copy of Windows10 off ebay for $5.00 but need to get it booted up with SS drive to download it . Computer hasn't been downloading updates or been on the "Big companies " log in- in for years so going into computer settings and trying to update doesn't work. Nothing valuable on it so wiping it clean is not a problem , just knowing enough to be dangerous is ....
Any thoughts ? | |
