Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, the ability to stack Shields can be handy. I saw a video the other day where a breakout Shield was installed into a UNO, then an LCD Shield with keypad installed on top of that. The breakout Shield in the middle had screw type terminals that were accessible from the outer edge. This would allow other Input/Output devices to be connected to the unused pins without the need to solder them to the pads on the LCD Shield.
This could be very handy for development and testing. Once the design was proven then a more permanent plan could be utilized. |
