Westport, IN | I considered doing just what your doing
So far I just run a fan on humidistat.
That seems to be working ok.
If going Arduino, features I would consider are:
1 Not running below freezing while drying.
2. Freeze mode where it only runs when below certain temp setting. Maybe set number of hours fan run time then go to standby.
3. Ambient temperature matching. Maintain temp of grain to outside air temp. Average every hour for last week, and then when your ambient temperature matches average it runs hand a couple hours each week.
These are different management styles, but I considered each scenario.
And as always don't run fan during the rain!
