I would guess that you still have some sort of virus or malware. How full is your harddrive, unless it is REALLY full, a defrag may not do much. Below is a "HowTo" I put together (well, mostly plagarized from CastleCops (now gone)) for friend and family. You can go right to running Malwarbytes if you have already run similar programs to SpyBot and Adaware. This is worth what you are paying for it.

Run the software/programs in the order listed below, one at a time. Everything is free unless otherwise stated. If you have a serious problem, may need to run some or all twice. This is at least an all day job. Start one up and go do laundry. Check every 1/2 hr or so.

(plagarized from CastleCops(now defunct) howto)
http://www.ccleaner.com/ - Download and run. Just cleans up files. Usually will not get rid of viruses etc.

http://www.lavasoft.com/products/ad_aware_free.php - Free version, download, update and run. Takes at least an hour to run.

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/spybotsd/index.html - Spybot Search and Destroy. Free version. Download, update, and run.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ - Online scanner. Download and run. Display kind of quirky. Don't believe the times after downloads done and scan starts. Scan may complete in less than on hour. Downloads take a while, over 1 hour.

http://www.pandasecurity.com/activescan/index/?track=1&Lang=en-US&I... - Free online scan. Supposed to be good. I did not get mine to work. (I have been told this will ask you to buy their software.)

http://www.malwarebytes.org/ - Download the free version. Install, update, and run. Will run for at least 1 hour+. This is the IMPORTANT scan. Should find and fix the worst kind of malware. Would not hurt to run twice.

If you want to know more. Look at the forums. If you have a particular problem, search in one of these. Note, HJT stands for 'High Jack This'. It is a report that is used to determine if, or what your problem is. I don't know how to read it, so neither will you.

http://www.geekstogo.com/

http://www.pcmech.com/ They may want money. Other forums are free. Looks good though. Lots of general computer info.

http://www.av-comparatives.org/ - Compares different software packages. Great info.
