| I have the opposite opinion, although it may not be valid. Viruses can change many things and getting rid of the virus does not necessarily undo all of the changes. My opinion (which is worth what you payed for it) is that in many cases in order to get your computer back into very good shape you need someone who knows much more about Windows than your average tech guy. Bumbling around in the registry and fixing all the things that can be screwed up is a pretty in depth proposition. This is why I am careful to not get viruses, but if I do, it's pretty likely that I'll be reformatting and reinstalling Windows within a week. | |
