There are a couple guys who haul grain in rolloffs here. I don't think they leave them on the ground, just put them on the truck and use it like a truck. It's probably more then just a coincidence that they are both in the demolition business..ie, they already have the trucks, this is just a workaround to get by without a grain truck.

Tare weight on a 10 wheeler is atrocious for what they can scale anyway, putting a rolloff setup into the picture is only going to make it worse. If you have the truck and the container sitting around, and you need a 400 bushel truck, then I suppose it's a viable option. If you are looking for an effective way to haul grain, however, I don't think this is it.
