The parking brake is a stupid design too.. If my memory is right it cost $4500 to have the tractor split to have the brake replaced. Stupid stupid engineer. I've seen some that had the tranny wired into the parking brake, that is a great idea. I wish i was that smart back when we had ours. I can't tell you how many times i took off without checking the brake. I would say wiring that saftey switch in is a must.
