Subject: Case 5250 tractor,..what can you tell me?


Morrisburg Ontario		Hi there,

I have a good friend that is looking to buy his first tractor. He is looking at a used 5250 mfwd with cab and loader. 2500 hours on it.

How did these tractors hold up? Any major problems with them that commonly exposed themselves as time passes on? I'm looking for the good the bad and the ugly as I have no experience at all with them and haven't got a lot to tell him other than we have a good caseih dealer as far as service goes.

As of now he is just looking to use it for light duty loader work, fencing, cutting grass, and maintenance around their 80ac horse farm. It won't be worked extremely hard. Probably 150-200 hours per year at the max!
