Central Nebraska

I've probably posted more on this forum about Ubiquiti products than most people so I'll try to offer some help.  First of all, if you are green to networking your in for a steep learning curve.  Get on the UBNT community forum and help page and figure out how to configure the radios.  They are not plug and play nor do they have a consumer friendly interface.  Going 500 feet is minor for those radios.  Properly aligned you could get a pretty solid 2-3 mile link out of them.  What are you going to use for cameras?  Ubiquiti has their own Unifi Video line with that works good.  I've installed several dozen of their cameras at numerous locations.  They are all POE powered and work best when using their Unifi switches.  You're opening a big can of worms setting all of it up though if you don't understand the nuts and bolts of the networking side of things.  Their forums are very helpful.
