That's great but most animals spend all or a large part of their lives in confinement. Because of the cost meeting environmental rules on pasturing large herds we have not pastured any animals in several years. California dairies are mostly confined despite the bull**** California ads featuring happy cows on green pastures.


1.79 million dairy cows and 18 million acres of cattle pasture in California.


Is that an argument one way or another? I would guess most of the "cattle pasture" is beef on ranches, and most of the dairy are on dry lots, right or wrong?
